Children's Corner

You will find the Children’s Corner at the west end of the Minster, well-furnished with a low table, stools and chairs. The big floor cushions are also used by Sunday School during the 9.45 service.

There are lots of books on the stand and the table, mostly for under-sevens – some are Bible stories, and some non-biblical. There is a good selection of colouring sheets, colouring pencils and blank paper for drawing.

For the under-threes who stay with their family during services, there are also pew bags, containing picture books, a toy and a cuddly toy.

Families coming to the Minster during the week are welcome to visit the Corner and enjoy a quiet moment with their little ones. Displays at the back show what children have been doing.
