Meet the mediaeval poet Walter of Wimborne – a fascinating character – a satirical poet, a Justice of the King’s Bench, and a very inventive fund-raiser for the Minster. St Cuthburga recalls her eventful life on the 1,300th anniversary of her death, and other tale-tellers will keep you spell-bound. Saturday 8th September in Wimborne Minster at 7pm – doors open at 6.30pm . Tickets, to include scrumptious refreshments, at £10 each, accompanied children under 16 are free, available from the Minster Shop (inside the Minster),the Parish Office, Church House and Square Records in the High Street. Bring the family and friends! An evening not to be missed!
