Wimborne Mothers' Union

Mothers' Union members The Wimborne Minster Mothers' Union has thirty-nine members. The purpose of the Mothers' Union is to be especially concerned with all that strengthens and preserves marriage and Christian family life.

We meet on the first Thursday of every month at 09.30 in St. George's Chapel for Corporate Communion and on the second Tuesday of every month at 10.00 in the Crypt for a Prayer Group.

Our main meeting is on the third Thursday afternoon of every month in Church House at 14.15. These meetings are varied, with speakers on a wide range of subjects, quizzes and discussions. Over tea and biscuits we catch up on members' news, as caring for each other is important to us. We discuss ways of supporting the many Mothers' Union projects worldwide.
